The other night a friend of SJFM was kicking it and it came up in conversation that they had never (Never?!) heard Kraftwerk! We threw some on and since then I've been on a little bit of a tip. This might be my favorite Kraftwerk track. Check it out, if this is your first encounter then please, Jammer, go out there and get it all, it's very very crucial listening. If you have heard it enjoy the revisiting. Also, this video is in English but go for the German if you get the record, you wont regret it, Mein Jammerz ;)

Axxess - Pages
So, the story goes that Patrick Mimran AKA Axxess made this record while he was the top executive at Lamborghini Motors. Novels for the Moon, the 1983 record that this track belongs to, was actually released on Lamborghini Records, the in-house record label of the Lamborghini corporation! I couldn't make this up if I tried.
Aside from that ridiculous backstory, it's a pretty excellent example of 80's synth music, somewhere between the soundtracks Goblin made with John Carpenter and classic Kraftwerk.
Also; sprockets.
