MELANCHOLIC WANDERINGS, VOL. 6: RUNNING INTO THE FOG, AKA THE VOID

Training for a marathon gives me the chance to do two of my favorite things: 1.) Run for long periods of time, and 2.) Brood intensely.

These are two ideal tracks for long runs along those foggy northwest waterfronts, the first from Thurston Moore's Demolished Thoughts, and the second from James Blake's crucial brood-fest, Overgrown.

Maybe you feel me on this one, maybe not. Either way, today is a very reflective one for da bishop.

Emotional Songs from an Emotional Man

If you haven't checked it out yet, the new James Blake album is pretty good. It's just a man singing about his feelings (which I can't get enough of).

:) :) :) UPDATE: The first vid was taken down so I had to replace it with another JB track. Don't worry, it's just as brooding as the other one ;)

James Blake - Retrograde
