AIRPORT, "SWEAT/PLEASURE"

MOTOR is a dance-oriented offshoot of Seattle-based Debacle Records, which typically releases ambient, noise, drone, and the like. The stuff coming out on MOTOR is more up da Bishop's alley, if you know what I mean ;) The label's inaugural release from Airport is a slow-burning dance jam that is both very dark and very raw. I'm really vibin this one and I think you all will, too. If you're in the Seattle area, they put on bi-monthly showcases that look very promising for fans of tripped out, left-field techno.

BISHOP SEXWOLF'S SUMMER OF DARKNESS 2K13 MIX

I'm glad to present the newest installment of the SJFM Mix Series, "The Summer of Darkness".  I don't think I could describe it any better than Da Bishop himself:

A little backstory on the mix: I was kind of hungover on Sunday morning and put together some tracks that reflected that feeling of just sitting around and wondering what the fuck I'm going to do with all this free time over the summer. There are the endless possibilities of hanging out, pursuing creative endeavors, trying to get in shape; ultimately, the one thing on your mind is that dread of doing it all again with the upcoming school year. Hence "The summer of Darkness."

TUFF SHERM, "SHRAPNEL MAESTRO" LP

After listening to that new track I checked out this LP release from last year. Very deep, dark, and raw, if you know what I mean :)

Jonas Reinhardt, "Elimination Street"

New track off the upcoming Jonas Reinhardt LP, Mask of the Maker, due out April 9th via Not Not Fun. The record brings things to that next next level. Just wait, babiez :)
