ANDY PETR, "DEEP SPACE SATURDAY NIGHT (ANALOG RE-VERSION)"

Although I don't have a twitter account myself I find it's always good to keep up with some artists who eschew other forms of social media. Andy Petr, Brooklyn producer extraordinaire and SJFM contributor, unleashes a brand new tune for ya. "Deep Space Saturday Night (Analog Re-Version)" is "classic Petr," with dense, inventive production that can be found all over his wealth of releases (two EPs for Mixpak and a slew of freely released jams). While the initial build-up gives the impression that we're in for a deep banger of a beat, it just keeps on building a wall of synths and gives way to a tripped out closing that's not quite IDM, not quite EDM, ya feel me???
