When I was in high school I worked at a grocery store in Shorewood, WI (Sendik's on Oakland, for the headz in the know), and there was a guy there who always showed me new jams, so that I wasn't stuck listening to Coldplay and Jack Johnson for the rest of my life (not that there's anything wrong with that, btw). One of the records I remember digging was Queens of the Stone Age's Lullabies to Paralyze, released in 2005. I just revisited it a few weeks ago, since they've recently put out a new record. I have to say, this one is pretty rad, and I thought I would share with all the rockers out there. I'm a big fan, and hope you enjoy it as well. Das ist alles, mein Jammerz ;)

Also, for an extra dose of riff-heavy rock, check out THIS record from Josh Homme's earlier band Kyuss. You won't be disappointed :) :) :)
