These are the covers for Peter Gabriel's 3rd and 2nd albums, respectively. I've always been a fan of his music, but it's taken a while for me to really appreciate the covers. Most people associate his name with that movie Say Anything, Sledgehammer, and all that fruity shit (which I love, by the way!). His early stuff, both solo and with Genesis, was pretty out there. Here's an overlooked gem from his second solo album:

As you can see, his costumes and general stage presence were pretty fucking weird. I think Genesis' post-Gabriel output pales in comparison to their first six album (although "I Can't Dance" is in a league of it's own). If you get the chance, those first six albums are raw as hell. Schwing!
