Anyone know if these people are still around Madison? What's that place on E. Wash, Good Times? or something like that? Acid Mothers Temple performed there. Met these cats when they were kicking it at The Frequency a few years back, during a Zola Jesus show, and they left a weird impression on me...I think we talked about rolling tobacco, Nepal and French. Not surprisingly their LP is out on Not Not Fun, limited vinyl.
good style shop, they're not the owners anymore, an old roommate of mine bought it off them and has just reopened it. sure if you stopped in he'd know where (if) they've gone.
ReplyDeletePeaking Lights are the best WI band currently imo. I haven't heard the rest of this new album but this song is a jam. It reminds me of a Carl Craig edit for some reason. And their last album was amazing too.
